Summer is officially here. After putting the BBQ to good use over the weekend, I thought it might be nice to switch things up.
While strolling down the fish and seafood section while grocery shopping, I noticed a nice display of fresh Mussels. It’s something I’ve been looking to try out at home so figured why not? We’ll make a seafood night of it.
I grabbed a nice fresh Salmon steak and some escargot. Looked up an easy recipe for Mussels and got cracking. Whipped up an quick and easy marinade for the salmon (any excuse for some Maple syrup). And cooked it on lemon slices, and a leaf of lettuce to keep from burning.
Of course when serving muscles and escargot, you need some nice bread to finish off those plates. So I whipped up some dinner rolls to complement the seafood.
